Water coming in right now?

Do these three things before you call. It takes a minute and it limits the damage.

  1. Shut the valve closest to the leak. Under the sink, behind the toilet, or at the water heater. Turn clockwise until it stops.
  2. No valve, or it won't close? Shut the main. Usually in the basement, near where the pipe enters from the street. In an apartment, call the super.
  3. If water is near outlets or the panel, cut the power to that area at the breaker before you touch anything.

Service and repair

Day-to-day repairs in apartments, houses, and storefronts. Same-day in most cases.

Leaks

Pipe, supply line, valve, and fixture leaks. We find the source before we cut anything open.

Drains and clogs

Sinks, tubs, toilets, and main lines. Snaking, hydro-jetting, and camera inspection when the line keeps backing up.

No hot water

Water heater repair and replacement, gas and electric. Thermostats, elements, pilots, and full swap-outs.

Toilets

Running, leaking at the base, weak flush, or a full replacement. Wax rings, flanges, fill valves.

Faucets and fixtures

Kitchen and bath faucets, shower valves, shutoffs, and supply lines. Repair where it makes sense, replace where it doesn't.

Burst and frozen pipes

Emergency repair, section replacement, and insulation so it doesn't happen again next winter.

Sewer and main lines

Backups, root intrusion, and broken laterals. Camera first, so you know what you're paying to fix.

Bathroom and kitchen rough-in

New supply and waste lines for renovations, coordinated with your contractor and permitted where required.

Kitchen and bathroom renovation

One company from demo to the last piece of trim. The plumbing, the tile, and the finish work all under the same roof.

Full bathroom renovation

Demo down to the studs, new supply and waste lines, waterproofing, tile, vanity, toilet, and fixtures. Most single bathrooms run two to three weeks.

Kitchen renovation

Sink and dishwasher lines, gas connection for the range, cabinet and countertop coordination, backsplash, and the finish plumbing.

Tile

Floor, wall, tub surround, and shower. Porcelain, ceramic, marble, and mosaic. Proper waterproofing underneath, because that's what makes tile last.

Tub to shower conversion

Swap a tub for a walk-in shower, including the pan, drain relocation, niche, glass, and any framing changes.

Regrout and reseal

When the layout is fine and the tile just looks tired. Stripping old grout, replacing cracked pieces, and resealing.

Vanities and fixtures

Vanity and top replacement, faucets, shower systems, medicine cabinets, lighting, and hardware.

Accessible bathrooms

Curbless showers, grab bars with proper blocking, comfort-height toilets, and layouts that work with a walker or chair.

Basement and add-a-bath

New bathrooms where there wasn't one. Waste line tie-ins, ejector pumps where needed, venting, and permits.

How a renovation goes

  1. We come look. Free walkthrough and measure. We talk through layout, what's realistic in the space, and roughly what it costs.
  2. You get a written scope and price. Line by line, so you can see what's included and cut or add before anything starts.
  3. We schedule a start and an end. You know which days are loud, which days you're without water, and when you get the room back.
  4. We clean up daily. Floors covered, debris hauled out, and a final walkthrough before you pay the balance.

Other work we do

We're a licensed home improvement contractor, so the work around the plumbing doesn't need a second call.

Painting

Interior and exterior, including the patch and repaint after a leak repair. Lead-safe certified for pre-1978 buildings.

Drywall and plaster

Closing up walls and ceilings we opened, water damage repair, and skim coating so you can't tell where the hole was.

Demolition

Selective interior demo for kitchens, bathrooms, and full gut jobs. Walls, floors, fixtures, and cabinetry taken out clean, with debris hauled and disposed of legally.

Flooring

Tile, vinyl plank, and laminate outside the kitchen and bath, including subfloor repair where the old floor is soft.

Closets and storage

Built-ins, shelving, and closet systems. Useful when a renovation frees up a wall you weren't using.

Carpentry and repairs

Vanities, cabinets, trim, doors, shelving, and the running list of small things nobody wants to make a separate call for.

Handyman work

Mounting, patching, caulking, hardware, and general maintenance. Hourly or flat rate, whichever is cheaper for you.

Landlords and property managers: ask about standing maintenance arrangements across multiple buildings.

Commercial and new construction

Ground-up, gut renovation, and building systems work for owners, general contractors, and managing agents.

New construction

Underground, rough-in, and finish for ground-up residential and mixed-use. We handle the permits, coordinate with the other trades, and hold the schedule.

Riser replacement

Hot, cold, and waste risers in occupied multifamily buildings. Phased by line so tenants keep water, with the wall closed and painted behind us.

Demolition

Interior demolition for commercial and multifamily gut jobs. Selective or full, with protection of adjacent occupied space, dust control, and permitted debris removal.

Gut renovation

Full replacement of supply, waste, and vent in apartments and whole buildings. Demo through sign-off.

Water main and sewer

New services, upsizing, tap connections, and lateral replacement, including street opening permits and utility coordination.

Gas piping

New gas service, riser replacement, appliance connections, and gas authorization from shutdown through restoration of service.

Boilers and heating

Steam and hydronic boiler replacement, near-boiler piping, controls, and distribution work for multifamily and commercial.

Restaurant and retail fit-out

Grease interceptors, floor drains, hot water capacity, and fixture rough-in built to pass health department and building inspection.

Standpipe and sprinkler

Standpipe work and coordination with fire suppression on renovation and new build, filed and inspected.

Licensing Licensed Master Plumber on staff. All work filed and permitted under our own license, not brokered out.
Insurance $2M general liability, $5M umbrella, full workers' comp and disability. Certificates issued naming owner and GC as additional insured.
Bonding Bonding capacity available for projects requiring payment and performance bonds.
Filings Permit applications, inspections, and sign-off handled in-house. We chase our own approvals.

Inspections and compliance

The recurring items every building and property owner has to stay ahead of.

Backflow prevention

RPZ and double-check device installation, annual testing, and filing with the water authority. We track your test date so the violation notice isn't the first time you hear about it.

Gas piping inspection

Periodic gas piping inspection and certification where your municipality requires it, with a clear written list of anything that needs correcting before the deadline.

Violation correction

Open plumbing violations, failed inspections, and unpermitted prior work. We correct the condition, file for re-inspection, and get it signed off.

Boiler and heating upgrades

Boiler replacement, near-boiler piping, and the plumbing side of heat pump and electrification retrofits, including efficiency rebate paperwork.

What it costs

Flat pricing on service work, line-item bids on projects. No surprises either way.

Diagnostic visit

A flat fee to come out, find the problem, and tell you what it takes to fix. Applied to the repair if you go ahead with us.

Flat price, quoted first

You get the number before any work starts. If you'd rather not do it, you owe the visit fee and nothing else.

If it changes, we stop

Open a wall and find something worse? We stop, show you, and requote. Nothing gets added to your bill without you seeing it first.

Where we go

Southern Westchester and the surrounding area. Fastest response in Eastchester, Bronxville, and Tuckahoe.

Not listed? Call and ask. If we can't get to you, we'll tell you who can.
